The Braid Hills No 1 course is truly the most magnificent course in Edinburgh. Set high above the Capital, the course commands panoramic views across the whole of Edinburgh.

It is a course steeped in the history of the game having been a test piece for James Braid and also the American, Tommy Armour in the 1910's.

The golf itself is set amongst some of the most fearsome gorse rough and spectular tee shots to beautifully kept and true greens. Wayward hots are punished, but straight drives are prized with hard fought Birdies and Pars.

It plays to all of its 5345 yards and you would be rewarded coming away with a par of 70.
