Big, wide open course with plenty of interest and some lovely looking holes. Although it rained throughout our round, I don't think this would represent one of the toughest this high handicapper has ever seen. I'd love to have a go at it in better conditions. It is immaculately presented and off-course must be difficult to better.....perhaps the Augusta of Wicklow?

One of my favourite places to be playing golf anywhere, after playing it once I could remember every hole and the stretch of 12-15 are a joy to play. Only weak(ish) hole is the par 5 16th but the rest more than make up for it. The par3 2nd sets up an early challenge deceiving you into thinking the huge green is closer (and easier to hit) that it actually is. I can't wait to return for what will be my forth time!

Fantastic, from the moment we arrived to when we finished in the 19th. The pro was very helpful and told us a few tales. You have to play here, the 12th, 13th, 14th are the best anywhere in the world, and then there is 17 and 18 the whole place is quality. We are booking to go back soon.

The Druids Glen is a golfing experience not to be missed. You will be hard pressed to find a better golf club in Europe, and you can clearly experience exactly why this has been the home of the Irish Open and other world competitions on so many occasions. If it's good enough for Seve, then who can argue?

Simply brilliant!

I took advantage of the discount available for playing the course before 8:50am last summer and was the first off on one of those incredible, quiet, windless, sunny days that come around so rarely. The golf course is just pure magic from start to finish. The greens are perfect, perhaps the best I've ever played, and the layout follows the contours of the natural land without the need for any pretentious earth moving and those ubiquitous 'links-style' humps and mounds that dominate the bland courses that are springing up all over the UK and Ireland. I can honestly say that my surroundings brought out the best golf in me, and I have not played nearly as well since. You will love this course. The staff gave us a wonderful welcome, and the course ranger kept popping up from time to time in his buggy to give me tips on how to play certain holes. One lost ball in the drink at the island green seventeenth later and i was forced to admit to him that it was a five iron after all and not a six!

I cannot praise the place enough. I tried to go back this year but was dismayed to find no tee times available. Obviously word has got around - no matter, the new course Druids Heath opens in September, and if it's older brother is anything to go by, it will be another rollercoaster ride!
