Our society played there yesterday and we were all very impressed. The Tees were about 7 out of 10, fairways were excellent 9/10, greens were very slow but true and will only get better as the year goes on so 7/10. The course although full of water hazards is still quite visitor friendly although I would suggest you invest £2 in a course guide as it saved me several shots. You can always download it for free from their website and transfer it from pdf to another format to print it if you are tight with your money like me. The club house is very nice but we couldn't believe how empty it was on such a fantastic day, this seems to be the trend with these Cheshire clubs in the middle of the countryside.
I would definitely recommend this course but maybe wait until June/July for the good greens.

Have played this course a couple of times over the last month (4 ball)& we all agree a fantastic well laid out course definitely a thinking course, plenty of water make it tough, fairways & greens in excellent condition, staff cannot do enough for you, well worth a visit

We decided to play Peover as a venue for our local Golf Society. The course is ideal for a Society as it is not too difficult but you also have to think your way around the course i.e. plenty of doglegs and water. A good test for a typical Society range of Handicaps as it is not too long either. The course itself is well manicured and quite picturesque. Excellent club house / facilities and will definately go back again. It is a shame that it is right next to the M6 and one can hear / see the traffic of a number of holes, but this did not distract from the overall enjoyment of the course.

Although I only played 9 holes after a very wet day, the course was in excellent condition overall but the greens were slow, they had been spiked and not cut. The potenetial though is obvious. The staff in the shop are very friendly and helpful.
The course is not all wam bam drive down the middle, some thought is needed about club selection and position.

An absolute gem of a course! Have played here on several occasions now and each time the course has been in fantastic condition. Greens are small, but nice and true. It truely is a course that makes you think carefully about each shot.
Decent practise putting green and pracitse bunkers, there is also a seperate driving range.
Friendly staff and a very nice clubhouse make a visit here very enjoyable indeed.

Have now played here a couple of times and rate very highly! Nicely laid out course that needs accuracy above all. Unforgiving rough (take plenty of balls if you're a high handicapper like me!)and water features make it tricky whatever your standard. Best of all is clubhouse - stunning timber-framed building - and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
