This gently undulating parkland course improves with each visit. In summer the greens are exceptionally fast and difficult to read. The water features and meandering stream adds interest to a number of tee shots and makes club selection crucial for some approach shots. When on the 12th tee (a short par 4) you may well ask why is this stroke index 3? You'll find out when you take your second shot and if you hit the green don't think you've done the hard work!!!
Catering - excellent.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Well worth a visit for both indivuals and societies.

The course was in excellent condition and set in a very pleasant location. Streams appear to be everywhere and keeping your ball above ground is a full time occupation! The overall yardage is long and it feels like that too by the time you reach the long sweeping 18th. The course & the people (pro shop, clubhouse & other players)were friendly and I will cetainly go back.
