Elton Furze Golf Club Player Reports

The course was in excellent condition, and the staff in the club house were more than helpful as was the club professional. The greens were beautiful and true without a blade of grass out of place.
The one area which was difficult was the bunkers which were a little compacted.
Stroke index one and two are very challenging holes. Course uses the water it has well.

I recently played this course and thought i'd quickly drop a line and let you know what i thought...
Lovely clubhouse, very homely, and a particulary lovely barmaid!! :-)
Course itself was either very challenging or not!!
All the par 3's are quite tricky, loved the 6th, was a great hole, actually have to carry a tree to hit the green, great fun!!
Some of the course if the wind is up is a bit like pitch and putt, not long enough but still very nice!!
Could do with a couple of LONG par 5's, but please dont think i am being negative, its a nice place to play golf and would return!
Only downfall is the price, cost me and my partner £18 on a 2 fore 1 deal, personally i think that is overpriced!
Go give it a go, see what you think!!

A friendly pleasant course and clubhouse.
At first sight not too challenging, but the occasional well sited lakes, bunkers, trees and streams are enough to make all players think about their shot selection.
Only criticism is that although the course is very well marked out and there are basic details on each hole at each tee, some form of course notes and yardages would be useful to carry around. None were available.
Having been round once, will certainly come back.
