Downshire Golf Club is a private club based at the Downshire Golf Complex in Crowthorne, Berkshire, off the Nine Mile Ride, one of the U.K.'s premier municipal golf courses.

Founded in 1974, the club functions as a highly active, independent, non-profit making organisation.

The Club has one Medal and one Trophy competition at weekends each month throughout the year, in addition to special competitions such as Invitation Day, Summer Knockout, Summer and Winter Eclectics.

We also play a large number of representative inter-club matches through April to September.

Downshire Golf Club is run by an enthusiastic Committee formed from its members, who can provide help and advice on play, rules & etiquette.

The golf course is parkland, 6,383 yards long par 73 SSS70.

Catering:

A reasonable standard of dress is required in club competitions.

Catering facilities, provided by Bracknell Forest District Council, are available for small parties, and meals/snacks are served all day until early evening.

The complex has a bar, driving rangs, and 9-hole pitch and put course.
