Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Tyne Valley only 15 minutes from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Close House is the perfect location for your special occasion, wedding, christening or golf day, and offers the latest event and conference facilities.

The 18 hole golf course is situated in the grounds of the Close House Estate, providing stunning views of the River Tyne and surrounding Tyne Valley.

The parkland layout was re-designed and re-opened in June 2007. It now has 18 USGA specification greens, is 6000 yards in length and is par 70 from the medal tees.

The undulating greens provide a real test for your putting skills, but accuracy of the tee is paramount for good scoring.

The clubhouse provides light snacks, however, Close House is the perfect backdrop to sit and relax after a game of golf.
